Celebrating the Urban Forest
Star Performers in the Sanctuary

A guided tour was conducted botanist Maxine Edgar to discover the special flora in the Sanctuary and learn how to identify plants.

This was followed by a delicious afternoon tea provided by Food Skil and the Rosewall Neighbourhood Centre.

A lucky ticket holder won a beautiful botanical painting generously donated by the artist Judy HartleyThomas. Vanessa Wingeraad (Healthy Parks Healthy People Coordinator) and her partner Alex Schipperen (Conservation Volunteers Australia) were the winners. BFS Landcare gave away local native plants to those who attended.
